The hardest of all is “getting started”

3 Modules are up and running and I am behind my self-imposed schedule for this one. I decided to use a method (MVC) that I not familiar with for the sake of learning and also to address the need of the barangay for system that can be scaled in the future.

Bugs and UI issues were solved in the second week of August. I scheduled a user-feedback session with the barangay officials and let them use the alpha version of the system. It was met with positive comments with some minor revisions to reflect the information like recent barangay logo and terms that the officials use in their processes.

Chairman Dani and Councilor Ramil gave their suggestions after the test session. eBarangay360 is starting to shape like a system that has been co-created by the people from the community.

With less than a month before deadline, I am incorporating the changes to the modules. Up next is another round of user testing to see if the pain points of the barangay officials were successfully addressed.
